Well, I'm sitting here ALMOST packed... Heading out to Texas tonight. Gonna drive thru the night and miss most of the heat while driving. Hopefully the majority of the kid fights too.... Might have to stop since I got up early today and worked.
I dread it, don't really wanna go. But it's one of those things "ya gotta do what ya gotta do".
A surprise call while I was out there from the infamous duck would sure make my week. Hell, a surprise call from DFW airport... that's the ticket!
*sigh* I should be packing the rest of the stuffs. I wanna get started and get the drive over. We're supposed to drive yet further (well again, actually be driving back towards home) after we get there and go camping in Tyler. meh, we'll see.
Oh well, I'm off.

I'm packing up my game and I'm a head out west...

Well, time to update I suppose...
Went to Riverbend festival to see Hank Williams, Jr. Riverbend is just not what it's cracked up to be. Smell of river, urine, and sweaty bodies packed like sardines just isn't my cup of tea. Think I'll pass on future Riverbend nights. There were times it was so packed you literally couldn't move. Most fun we had was after we left and went to the roof of the tortilla factory. Was nice there, could still see the show on the big screens, but didn't have to contend with all the other bullshit.
Let's see... I graduated as seen in my last post. No celebration to be had there. My family tried to ruin it and so they, of course, succeeded. I ate at chick-fil-a drive-thru and went home and went to bed.
I had my nose fixed June 19. Looked like a battered wife for a couple weeks there. But now I can breathe!!! Well, I could breathe better if not for the fact that I now have a sinus infection and/or head cold that's been passed around my family. It's still swollen too. The doc said it would take up to 6 months for all of the swelling to completely go away. Even with the head cold I can tell a big difference from before the surgery. He also fixed it prettier while he was at it. The hump is gone! This is my new no-hump, straighter and can breathe better nose...

There's not a HUGE difference. It's still my nose, just revamped, lol. That pic was taken on one of our 'girls night out' last weekend. Carrie had spackled me with her heavy duty makeup, so the bruising wasn't as noticeable. I was still pretty bruised under my eyes and down to my left chin (where the swelling and bruising had went down 'cause I had to sleep sitting up for the first week). It's almost all gone now.
Things are about the same at work. SSDD kinda thing.
Me, Larry, and the kids went to the drive-in to see Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest and Click this past Friday night. Can't beat 8 bucks for 2 movies for 4 people. Pirates was GREAT (Johnny Depp *drool*). I fell asleep right after Click started tho. Wasn't feeling very well with the sinus thing going on and all. I hated the way Pirates ended though. Now I have to wait for the 3rd movie to find out how it turns out. And patience is definately NOT one of my virtues.

Oh well, this concludes our most recent addition to impyisms. Hope you enjoyed at least some of it.
