Your daughter spends the night with her grandma, your son goes to a gun show with his dad. You have your house to yourself. Can you imagine the bliss?
There is a lot of new changes here. I just might have time to mess around with some of these new bells and whistles. It's been so long since I messed with a web page and so many things have changed or come along since I have. Now I just have to see if I can remember all that I've forgotten and that I can figure out all the new things. I am gonna try to figure out how to get this page working by hosting it on ftp. Gotta knock the cobwebs outta my brain where webpages are concerned, hahaha. I'm gonna try out this photo thing too. I'm trying out this comment thing. Wonder what all I can get myself into?
Just a couple weeks left in this quarter! yeah!!! I can't wait to see this quarter end. No more math with numbers AND letters. I agree with Jimmy, math sucks.
Let's go play!

The Sand Man is hiding, I'm convinced. Well, the in-laws have descended and I'm hiding in my room. I've gotten lost in algebra. I missed evaluting the teacher who can't. Possibly the worst of all? There's no beer in the entire house!
It's all good considering tho. I missed school because I went to my kids' awards day at their school. Tater got an award for all A's and Blade (as he would prefer to be known) got an award for all A's and 1st place in accelerated math. Yes, they get it from my side of the family. And Tater... after taking the S.T.A.R. test, her teacher told me she scored the highest in the class. The end of 1st grade and she's reading on a level equivalent to a 3rd grader in the 6th month. That's MY babies. When they stand in a wagon and tell the other to pull them, they're their daddy's kids though. He did it not once but 3-4 times. THAT'S what made him his son, hahaha.
Today's moral kids... Check out their family, you get them too.

Well, I
tried to go to the drive-in tonite to see Shrek 2 and Envy but they were all full-up 30 min. before show start with a cop turning ppl away. bleh. So I came home and worked some more on my I & M test and did a little bit more house cleaning, getting ready for the in-laws visit (can you hear the joy in my voice... or would that be see it in my typing?). I'm really not ready for an in-law visit right now. Well, it might be alright if they didn't bring their youngest son (mid-twenties) who is spoiled worse than any 2 year old I've seen. Ok, that's it then, I'm not ready for a spoiled brother-in-law visit. I'm also not ready to finish my post right now. More after I catch up with the Sand Man.

Well, my Mother's Day went okay. Kids made me breakfast, and it was actually delicious. They must get their culinary talents from me. Never knew they'd get the talent so early though. I was taken to dinner at Ryan's and it was very delicious as well. A Pot roast I didn't have to make, dressing and rolls... I could eat my weight in those yeast rolls. I registered for summer quarter this morning. Adding the second degree I have longer to go but I'm thinking about a year and a half and I should be finished. I'm thinking I can even get it done in a year... if my classes fall right. Especially with no math class! With no math class I can take 4 classes no problem. Math sucks. Plain and simple. Went to the IMAX today with the kids on a field trip to watch Bugs! Was alright. Like most theaters they think louder must be better and I thought I would be deafened once but other than that was pretty cool. Well it's dinner time, time to slave over the stove and eat and unwind and get ready for a another day at good ol' Northwestern tomorrow (back to the grindstone).

Well, it's Friday again, just in time for the freaks to come out of the woodwork apparently. Pretty sure I bombed our second Installation and maintenance test. It would help a lot if the instructor would teach or ya know, at least maybe tell us to study what the test will be over. Instead she tells us to be sure and study what turns out to not even be on the test. I've come to hate that class. Such a disappointment too, when I was looking so forward to it when I registered. I added Internet Specialist today so now I'll be doing double major. Won't be too bad considering the extra classes for each will go toward the electives for the other. Which also means I can choose either "official" advisor. With the instructor choices I have also decided to go the Windows route. Might pick up Cisco someday, who knows. Depends on what instructors I would have, lol.
I don't know how the weekend is gonna go. I'm going to dinner one night for Mother's Day. Other than that, who knows. Food's here! yea!

Well, I had a rather full and yet at the same time, lazy, weekend. I slept most of the day Saturday, allergies were kickin' me bum most of Friday night and Saturday. Didn't make it to the movies Sat. night, so we went to Dan's friend's house, who he was house-sitting for and drank and watched movies. While talking to her, we figured out that our brothers work together and went on vacation together to Austrailia (and didn't take their dear sisters... mean brothers). Small world afterall. Her puppy made a friend of my hubby, which I thought was funny. I thought about cleaning my house all spic and span today, but only managed to do the laundry and get the kitchen spic and span. I did make a coconut cake today, though. I didn't get online much this weekend. I didn't get much at all done, that I was planning on, come to think of it. Hmm, oh well, think I'll just go sleep.
