This past weekend was the Spring Rod Run in the Smokies. We stayed in Pigeon Forge and had a pretty good time. Not great, but good. We went to the Comedy Barn and Dixie Stampede. That Dixie Stampede is a great show and great food. The kids didn't wanna come home.
The Smokies are OK, but I just don't think it's as great as everyone else seems to. Once you've seen it once, you've seen it. Not a ton of things to do there. The trip only served to make me want a REAL vacation. I wanna go to Tybee Island sometime this summer. I love that place. Not a lot to see/do there anymore since I've been so often but hey... beach! I could definately be a beach bum with no problems whatsoever. Well, barring a Tsunami that is, lmao.
Allergies are kicking my ass lately, which makes me not wanna do anything. I'm getting REALLY tired of getting home so late. Something's gotta give. They either have to hurry up and get an evening person to replace me or I gotta find something else 1st shift hours.
Oh well, that's it for now.
