It seems as if we're all doing the separate thing. We've graduated and everyone's going and doing their own thing. Which is the way it's supposed to be. Make your own path, carve your own niche. Sure do miss my guys tho. Everything that's gone on in my life lately makes me wanna see my friends more. There isn't always a "later". Sometimes you have to make and/or take time. Time's never been my friend anyway. The world would be better without watches and clocks. 12:29 AM * Like to Comment? * ::: 0 Comments :::

My grandma has surgery to remove a skin cancer from her hand next Tuesday. My aunt (one of Mom's sisters) had surgery the end of last week. She'd been having a lot of pain and problems with one of her kidneys. Come to find out, the surgery she had last year at UAB, the idiots had apparently clamped off the tube from her kidney essentially blocking that kidney for the past year. All her complaints and questions were met with "oh that's normal" until now. I'm not a big fan of lawsuits, but she'd be crazy not to sue for that kind of shit. Maybe keep the idiots at UAB from doing it again. What am I saying? eh, maybe make them think twice at least. I also found out today that my cousin married this crazy girl I went to school with. He's her 5th husband. She has a grown son. She started really early. On a bright note, I'm taking off work Friday to go to my son's induction ceremony into the National Beta Club. Yeah, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I have a couple of great kids. The only way I could have better kids is if they came with remotes for to "mute" "off" and "volume" them. They're both smart, funny, talented, and well behaved kids (except at home of course). Oh well, enough for now. I'm tired and sleepy and don't feel good. Again, I ask... Is it 2007 yet? 12:56 AM * Like to Comment? * ::: 0 Comments :::
This year Taylor has earned 2 and Tristan has earned 1. Taylor said she wanted Ariel, The Little Mermaid on hers one of hers and an Aquarium on the other. Tristan wants jet fighters on his. My mom kept trying to talk her out of Ariel because it'd be too hard to paint/wouldn't look right. Well that, of course, irritated me. So I said "you want Ariel, Taylor... you got it." I finished the second (aquarium) tile for her tonight. Taylor helped to paint parts of both of them. She drew the crab all by herself. Mom even helped paint some on the Ariel tile. Mom painted the starfish and helped me on the eyes. Tristan also helped to paint the bubbles on the Ariel one, and he and Taylor both helped to mix the paints. I drew and Taylor painted the frog on the aquarium one. Mom actually complimented them and said they look really good and she told the kids that I have been hiding a talent. I 'bout fell over. As most of you who have ever heard me talk about my mom, I can't do anything right according to her. That of course, deserves a blog! Let me tell ya, it ain't easy painting a holey tile either. Anyway, here they are... and
